Recipe for Irish Blonde Ale

Blonde Ale, All-Grain

5 gallon batch

Ingredients

Grains
9.75 lbs Rahr 2-Row
1 lb Flaked barley
1 lb Fawcett Malted Oats

Hops
0.75 ounce Palisade, 60 mins
1 ounce Palisade, 15 mins

Yeasts
Wyeast 1084 Irish Ale

Mash schedule

Infusion with 14.69 quartts water @ 169.6° F
Saccharification rest for 60 minutes @ 152° F
At mash out, add 7.3 quarts water @ 212° F
Mash out for 10 minutes @ 170° F
Fly Sparge with 13.24 quarts of water @ 170° F

Fermentation schedule

Primary fermentation for 14 days @ 67° F
Secondary fermentation for 14 days @ 72° F
Keg for 14 days @ 74° F
